OZtoberFest

OZtoberFest
Enjoy a special state production of The Wizard of Oz with cameo performances of some of the original munchkins.

The first weekend in October, the Road to Oz (otherwise known as Highway 99 and Lincoln Avenue) closes down to celebrate one of America’s best known fairy tales – The Wizard of Oz. OZtoberFest festivities include kids’ inflatable play area, a farmer’s market, Yellow Brick Road Rides, food and craft vendors and activities for the entire family. A special stage production of The Wizard of Oz is performed at the Columbian Theatre, which often features cameo appearances by some of the original Munchkins. Other special guests, who are available at book signings and autograph sessions, are relatives of L. Frank Baum and Judy Garland.
